I am Natasha Kakana and I have been a professional photographer for 21 years. I loved photography from a young age and studied in Athens at the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies in the Department of Photography, where I was lucky enough to meet and be nurtured by important people in the field of photography. In the last year of the school, my first major recognition came as I won my first prize, in the AD DAYS CREATIVE CONTEST.
But learning the art of photography does not stop there, as it is a space of unlimited possibilities and endless creation.
After a stint in the field of fashion, professional photography and advertising photography, I chose to work in Wedding photography, when I realized that I love to photograph moments and essentially create peoples' memories for the decades to come. Through my lens I can stop time and "catch" moments full of emotions.
The most important thing after talent, experience and "artistic madness", is the quality and completeness of the RIGHT equipment. Cameras, lenses, batteries, lights, tripods and accessories, are not just the "tools" of our work, but are an extension of the photographer and at least a clear indication of the separation of amateurs from professionals...
So I choose not just to always remain "relevant" to the evolution of technology, but I constantly invest in upgrading and enriching my equipment, wherever it exceeds the needs of the time and my work.
